How much is shipping?

Shipping costs are included in our plant pricing. During cold months there is an additional cold weather shipping fee of $4.99

Can I change my address?

To ensure the best service for your order, please double-check your shipping address before completing your purchase. If you notice an error, changes must be requested within 1 hour of placing your order.

Please note, we are closed on weekends, so changes submitted during that time may not be processed before your order is prepared. Our process is designed for efficiency, and once your order is sent to our warehouse, it moves quickly through packing and shipping. Unfortunately, changes cannot be made once the package is packed and handed off to our shipping partners. Similarly, changes are not possible within the shipping partner’s system after the package has been dispatched.

Once an order is placed, it cannot be modified. Cancellations are considered on a case-by-case basis, and while we do our best to assist, our streamlined processing ensures orders are prepared and shipped quickly, limiting our ability to make adjustments.

Help! My plants arrived damaged!

We guarantee that every plant will arrive in good condition, rain or shine, or we’ll send you a replacement*. Before shipping, we thoroughly inspect each plant to ensure it’s healthy and pack it with care. However, occasional damages can occur due to rough handling during transit. If this happens, simply share a photo with us, and we’ll work with you to make it right.

*Only one replacement can be made per plant.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship exclusively to the contiguous United States. Unfortunately, we’re unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico at this time.

When can I expect my plant to get here?

We know you're eager to welcome your new plants! Our shipping process is designed to ensure your plants arrive quickly and in excellent condition. With one greenhouse on the West Coast and another on the East Coast, we ship your order from the location closest to you for the fastest delivery.

All orders are packed and given to our shipping partners within 1-4 business days. Estimated shipping times are typically 2-4 business days depending on your location.

However, please note that unforeseen delays with our shipping partners, such as weather or carrier issues, may occasionally impact delivery times.

Rest assured, we do everything possible to get your plants to you promptly and will notify you with tracking information once your order is on its way. If you have any questions about your shipment, feel free to contact us for assistance!

What is your cold weather shipping fee?

o guarantee your plants arrive in pristine condition during the colder months, we implement enhanced packaging protocols. Each plant is meticulously wrapped with cold-weather protection, including a warming pack, to safeguard it from low temperatures during transit. Please note, this specialized packaging applies exclusively to plants and not to hard goods.

A cold weather shipping fee of $5.00 will be applied to orders during applicable months. As a token of our appreciation, we’ll also add 50 bonus loyalty points to your account for each order placed during these colder months, giving you extra rewards to use on future purchases.

How will my plant arrive?

Our top priority is ensuring your plants arrive in excellent condition. The journey to your home can be an adventure for any plant! To make the trip as smooth as possible, we ship our plants in their original nursery grow pots. This approach helps minimize stress and shock that can occur if a plant is repotted before leaving the greenhouse.

What is the Gilded Guarantee?

We’re committed to ensuring your plants arrive in excellent condition. If they don’t, we’ll replace them for free under our Gilded Guarantee. It’s normal for live plants to experience slight stress during shipping, but if the damage is more than minor blemishes*, contact us within 7 days of receiving your plant to request a free replacement.

To process a replacement, we’ll need photos of the damage—this helps us improve our packaging and shipping processes.

*Keep in mind that live plants may show small signs of stress after their journey. You can help them recover by pruning damaged foliage, such as bent stems or yellow leaves. This allows the plant to redirect its energy toward healthy new growth.

Do I have to repot my plant once it arrives?

The short answer is no. Start by allowing your plant to acclimate to its new surroundings. Place it in the spot where you plan to keep it, and let it settle for about two weeks.

During this time, your plant adjusts to the light levels and temperature of your home, which are quite different from a greenhouse. After two weeks, if you’d like, you can repot it into the pot of your choice. Remember to use a pot that is slightly wider than the nursery grow pot—this extra space is meant to give your plant room to grow if you choose to repot. However, repotting isn’t necessary! As long as your plant has space in its nursery pot and looks healthy, you can simply let it thrive as is.

Why does my plant look different from the website?

Live plants are naturally unique, with variations in color, texture, and size. While we make every effort to display our plants as accurately as possible, slight differences may occur between what is shown online and the plant you receive.
